So, it has been so much fun to share with my class of 4th graders about the pregnancy. The girls tend to be a little more "ok" with it. It's the boys who are absolutely flabergasted and intrigued. Yesterday (at 22 weeks) one of my students just blurted out in the middle of our Math lesson, "Mrs. Marty, your belly is getting VERY big!" The floodgates opened and about 10 other students had some comment they just had to say or a question to ask since someone had started the conversation.
One of the kids asked if I could sleep on my belly. Another student said, "If you tried I think your legs would be sticking straight up because of your belly!!!" Gotta love them!
